7. Renew your mind.

7. Renew your mind. Romans 12:2 True transformation begins with the renewing of your mind. A young man who had struggled with anger for years came to Christ. But even after he was saved, he continued to respond harshly to the people around him. One day, he began to read God’s Word in the morning before work. Then it became a habit. Slowly, his thoughts changed. Instead of reacting in anger, he began to respond with patience and grace. His life changed because God began to work. The Bible teaches that transformation is not external, but internal. God changes a person by renewing the mind. Worldly thoughts, fear, pride, impurity, and selfishness constantly shape our thoughts in a different way, but the Holy Spirit renews our thoughts through the revelation of Scripture, prayer, and obedience. In fact, the Christian life is not limited to external behavioural changes; it is an internal, or deep change of heart and mind. In Romans 12:2, Paul makes it clear: “Do not be conformed to this wor...

6. The Fallen Mind

6. The Fallen Mind Ephesians 4:17–18 In this chapter we examine how dangerous a fall is. The failures of everyday life teach us to be more aware and careful. The apostle Paul describes with great seriousness the futility and awful spiritual state of human life without Christ. He warns believers not to follow the way of life of the Gentiles who do not know God. He emphasizes that the root cause of their problem is not only external sinful acts, but also a dark and vain way of thinking. “You desire truth in the inward parts,” reads Psalm 51:6. Sin first begins in the mind and then manifests itself in actions. Paul explains that their separation from God’s life is due to ignorance and hardness of heart. When spiritual truth is rejected, the mind becomes blind and loses its true understanding. Therefore, man’s greatest problem is not just a moral fall, but a mind separated from divine truth. True spiritual transformation occurs when a renewed mind is received in Christ. 1. The futility of ...

5. Spiritual vs Natural Mind

5. Spiritual vs Natural Mind Every person’s life and decision-making ability is based on their way of thinking over time. The Bible suggests that our thinking is not neutral. It is influenced by our human nature or by God’s Spirit. This creates a clear distinction between the natural mind and the spiritual mind. We just often fail to recognize it. The natural mind is influenced by worldliness and self, but the spiritual mind is guided by God’s truth and His Spirit. I think it is vital for each of us to understand this difference, because our mental attitude determines our direction, our choices, and ultimately our spiritual life. In Romans 8:5–7 we read: “For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. The mind occupied with the flesh is death, but the mind occupied with the Spirit is life and peace. Because the mind occupied with the flesh is hostile to God, for...

4. The Mind of Christ – The Source

4. The Mind of Christ – The Source . Our title text addresses a very profound and thought-provoking question. “Where is the source of this?” I would venture to say that this question is one of the most fundamental inquiries of the human mind. If we agree that everything has a beginning, is it not reasonable to ask whether this reality also has a source or origin? Yet, despite the importance of this question, no one seems able to provide a fully satisfactory answer.  What we are seeking is not something material but a spiritual reality. Therefore, it cannot be fully understood through material means alone. This is where the significance of Scripture becomes clear. The Bible leads us to divine revelation—truth that exceeds human reasoning and understanding. The ultimate source of truth is revealed in the Word of God. If we are to pursue this question to its proper conclusion, we must turn to Scripture for guidance. What we seek is not merely a theory, an idea, or a philosophical expl...

3. What is the mind of Christ?

3. What is the mind of Christ? We are trying to examine a very relevant topic here. It is a question. Everyone has the right to ask questions. But the main issue is where to get the answers to those questions. We may have various sources of knowledge before us, but they may not always provide adequate answers to the deep questions of life. Therefore, I propose that we turn to a source that is both authoritative and trustworthy—one that provides reliable answers to life's most important questions. We need a source that offers unchanging truth and dependable guidance on spiritual matters, especially those that lie beyond the limits of human understanding. That is the Holy Bible. Therefore, let us pay attention to the Scriptures. In 1 Corinthians 2:16, we read, “But we have the mind of Christ.” We have the mind of Christ. The phrase “the mind of Christ” here is one of the most profound and reflective truths of the Christian life. It does not refer to human intelligence, education, or ...

2.Root Words.

2.Root Words. I will not attempt a comprehensive explanation here. Because I do not consider myself a linguist capable of doing that. I am only trying to explain some of the things I have been able to understand in this study with prayer, based on my limited knowledge. I gratefully remember that I have received the generous help of a few dearly blessed servants of God here. To help me understand and clear up doubts, I have consulted some books that contain the meaning, interpretation, etc. of words and trying to copy the knowledge I have received from many places, relying on the grace of God, and faithfully transcribing it here. I am fully aware that I may make mistakes, and therefore I have never restricted or denied men of God the right to correct me. Consider the passage in 1 Corinthians 2:16. When we examine the phrase “the mind of Christ” in the context of the Greek words, we realize that its meaning is very rich and extensive. Here, “mind” refers not only to the intellect or the...

MIND OF CHRIST - Introduction

1.Introduction.  Christianity is passing through a very perilous period. And almost a great number of believers are moving forward with fear and unbelief. A tendency contrary to the Scriptures is evident everywhere. Many who have made virtuous beginnings have faded and withered, but they are painfully admitting that they are in a state of decline. They are simply moving forward because they have no other choice. It is an undeniable reality that a dark shadow has settled upon us. Amid all the darkness, the existence of a remnant has never ceased. There have been dark times. Even in that situation, God’s people, who were still small in number, have held fast to their most holy faith. There is abundant evidence of this in Scripture and also in history. The stirring words, “we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses,” remind us that we are not alone in our journey of faith. In these last days, God has given us an opportunity to reveal what true Christian living is. Nothing wil...
