8. Humble Mind (Humble Mind). Philippians 2:5–8 It is spiritually rewarding to study the truth that the basis of Christ’s thinking is his humility. Once, a man was waiting in a long line at a small tea shop. When his turn finally came, a man who came after him arrogantly stood in front of him. Instead of arguing, the man smiled and let him go first. A friend who witnessed the incident asked, “Why didn’t you say anything to that man?” He calmly replied, “It wasn’t really about the tea—it was something too small to argue about.” Then he added a thought-provoking statement: “I value peace more than proving that I’m right.”  The beautiful reward of a humble mind. One of the clearest windows into the mind of Christ is found in Philippians 2:5–8. 7. Renew your mind. Romans 12:2 True transformation begins with the renewing of your mind. A young man who had struggled with anger for years came to Christ. But even after he was saved, he continued to respond harshly to the people around him. One day, he began to read God’s Word in the morning before work. Then it became a habit. Slowly, his thoughts changed. Instead of reacting in anger, he began to respond with patience and grace. His life changed because God began to work. The Bible teaches that transformation is not external, but internal. God changes a person by renewing the mind. Worldly thoughts, fear, pride, impurity, and selfishness constantly shape our thoughts in a different way, but the Holy Spirit renews our thoughts through the revelation of Scripture, prayer, and obedience. In fact, the Christian life is not limited to external behavioural changes; it is an internal, or deep change of heart and mind. 6. The Fallen Mind Ephesians 4:17–18 In this chapter we examine how dangerous a fall is. The failures of everyday life teach us to be more aware and careful. The apostle Paul describes with great seriousness the futility and awful spiritual state of human life without Christ. He warns believers not to follow the way of life of the Gentiles who do not know God. He emphasizes that the root cause of their problem is not only external sinful acts, but also a dark and vain way of thinking. “You desire truth in the inward parts,” reads Psalm 51:6. Sin first begins in the mind and then manifests itself in actions. Paul explains that their separation from God’s life is due to ignorance and hardness of heart. 8. എളിമയുള്ള മനസ്സ് (A Humble Mind).  ഫിലിപ്പിയർ 2:5–8 ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ചിന്തയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനം അവന്റെ താഴ്മയാണെന്ന സത്യത്തെ പഠനവിഷയമാക്കുന്നത് ആത്മീയമായി വളരെ അനുഗ്രഹകരമാണ് എന്നു കരുതുന്നു.  ഒരിക്കൽ ഒരു ചെറിയ ചായക്കടയിൽ ഒരു മനുഷ്യൻ നീണ്ട ക്യൂവിൽ കാത്തുനിൽക്കുകയാണ്. ഒടുവിൽ അവന്റെ ഊഴം വന്നപ്പോൾ, അയാൾക്കു ശേഷം വന്ന ഒരാൾ അഹങ്കാരത്തോടെ അവന്റെ മുന്നിൽ കയറിനിന്നു. തർക്കിക്കുന്നതിനുപകരം, ആ മനുഷ്യൻ പുഞ്ചിരിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് അവനെ ആദ്യം പോകാൻ അനുവദിച്ചു. ഇതു കണ്ടുകൊണ്ടിരുന്ന ഒരു സുഹൃത്ത് ചോദിച്ചു, “എന്തുകൊണ്ടാണ് നിങ്ങൾ ആ മനുഷ്യനെ എതിർക്കാത്തത്?” അവൻ ശാന്തമായി പറഞ്ഞു, “ചായയ്ക്കു വേണ്ടിയല്ലേ, സാരമില്ല”. അയാൾ തുടർന്നു പറഞ്ഞതു നമ്മുടെ കണ്ണുതുറപ്പിക്കുന്നതാണ്. “ഞാൻ ശരിയാണെന്ന് തെളിയിക്കുന്നതിനേക്കാൾ സമാധാനമാണ് എനിക്കു വിലപ്പെട്ടത്.” എളിമയുള്ള മനസ്സിന്റെ മനോഹരമായ പ്രതിഫലനം. ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ മനസ്സിലേക്കുള്ള ഏറ്റവും വ്യക്തമായ ജാലകങ്ങളിലൊന്ന് ഫിലിപ്പിയർ 2:5–8 ൽ കാണാം. പൗലോസ് നേരിട്ട് ഒരു നിർദ്ദേശം നൽകുന്നു: “ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിലുള്ള ഭാവം തന്നെ നിങ്ങളിലും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കട്ടെ...” പൗലോസ് യേശുവിന്റെ മനോഭാവത്തെയും ചിന്താരീ...

6. വീണുപോയ മനസ്   എഫെസ്യർ 4:17–18 വീഴ്ച എത്രമാത്രം അപകടകരമാണെന്നു നാം ഈ അദ്ധ്യായത്തിൽ പരിശോധിക്കുന്നു. ദൈനംദിന ജീവിതത്തിലെ വീഴ്ചകൾ നമ്മെ കൂടുതൽ അവബോധവും ശ്രദ്ധാലുക്കളുമായിരിക്കാൻ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നതാണ്. അപ്പോസ്തലനായ പൌലോസ്,  ക്രിസ്തുവില്ലാത്ത മനുഷ്യജീവിതത്തിന്റെ നിരർത്ഥകതയും പരിതാപകരമായ ആത്മീയ അവസ്ഥയും ഗൗരവത്തോടെ വിവരിക്കുന്നു. ദൈവത്തെ അറിയാത്ത ജാതികളുടെ ജീവിതരീതി പിന്തുടരരുതെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം വിശ്വാസികൾക്കു മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നൽകുന്നുണ്ട്. അവരുടെ പ്രശ്നത്തിന്റെ മൂലകാരണം പുറമേയുള്ള പാപപ്രവൃത്തികൾ മാത്രമല്ല, മറിച്ച് ഇരുണ്ടതും വ്യർത്ഥവുമായ ചിന്താഗതിയാണ് എന്നു അദ്ദേഹം ഊന്നിപറയുന്നു. “അന്തർഭാഗത്തിലെ സത്യമല്ലോ നീ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നതു” എന്നാണ് സങ്കീർത്തനം 51:6ൽ വായിക്കുന്നത്. എന്നാൽ പാപം ആദ്യം മനസ്സിൽ ആരംഭിച്ച് പിന്നീട് പ്രവൃത്തികളിൽ പ്രകടമാകുന്നു. ദൈവീകജീവനിൽ നിന്ന് അവർ അകലുന്നത് അജ്ഞതയും ഹൃദയ കാഠിന്യവും നിമിത്തമാണെന്ന് പൗലോസ് വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു. ആത്മീയ സത്യം നിരസിക്കുമ്പോൾ മനസ്സ് അന്ധമാകുകയും ശരിയായ തിരിച്ചറിവ് നഷ്ടപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. അതിനാൽ മനുഷ്യന്റെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പ്രശ്നം വെറും നൈതിക വീഴ്ചയല്ല...

5. Spiritual vs Natural Mind Every person’s life and decision-making ability is based on their way of thinking over time. The Bible suggests that our thinking is not neutral. It is influenced by our human nature or by God’s Spirit. This creates a clear distinction between the natural mind and the spiritual mind. We just often fail to recognize it. The natural mind is influenced by worldliness and self, but the spiritual mind is guided by God’s truth and His Spirit. I think it is vital for each of us to understand this difference, because our mental attitude determines our direction, our choices, and ultimately our spiritual life. In Romans 8:5–7 we read: “For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. 4. The Mind of Christ – The Source . Our title text addresses a very profound and thought-provoking question. “Where is the source of this?” I would venture to say that this question is one of the most fundamental inquiries of the human mind. If we agree that everything has a beginning, is it not reasonable to ask whether this reality also has a source or origin? Yet, despite the importance of this question, no one seems able to provide a fully satisfactory answer.  What we are seeking is not something material but a spiritual reality. Therefore, it cannot be fully understood through material means alone. This is where the significance of Scripture becomes clear. The Bible leads us to divine revelation—truth that exceeds human reasoning and understanding. The ultimate source of truth is revealed in the Word of God. 3. What is the mind of Christ? We are trying to examine a very relevant topic here. It is a question. Everyone has the right to ask questions. But the main issue is where to get the answers to those questions. We may have various sources of knowledge before us, but they may not always provide adequate answers to the deep questions of life. Therefore, I propose that we turn to a source that is both authoritative and trustworthy—one that provides reliable answers to life's most important questions. We need a source that offers unchanging truth and dependable guidance on spiritual matters, especially those that lie beyond the limits of human understanding. That is the Holy Bible. Therefore, let us pay attention to the Scriptures. In 1 Corinthians 2:16, we read, “But we have the mind of Christ.” We have the mind of Christ.
