ശതാധിപൻ

യിസ്രായേലിൽകൂടെ ഇത്ര വലിയ വിശ്വാസം കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

(Mathew 8:10)

ദൈവിക അധികാരത്തെ കുറിച്ച് നല്ല ധാരണ ഉള്ളവനായിരുന്നു ശതാധിപൻ. അതിനാൽ തന്നെ യേശു ആരെന്നു തിരിച്ചറിയാനും അദ്ദേഹത്തിനായി. ആ തിരിച്ചറിവ് കൊടുത്ത ബോധ്യങ്ങളാണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഉറച്ച വിശ്വാസത്തിനടിസ്ഥാനം. ആരോടാണ്, എന്താണ് സംസാരിക്കുന്നതെന്നു അദ്ദേഹം നന്നായി മനസിലാക്കി. പ്രിയരേ ദൈവത്തെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള ശരിയായ ആത്മ ജ്ഞാനം നാം നേടുക നേടുക. അതു വിശ്വാസ വർദ്ധനയ്ക്ക് കാരണമാകും. ജയകരമായ ക്രിസ്തിയ ജീവതത്തിന് നമ്മെ സഹായിക്കും. യേശു നമ്മെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.

The centurion had a good understanding of divine authority. That knowledge helped him to know who Jesus was. The convictions he had, thru that understanding are the basis of his firm faith. He understood very well who and what he was talking about. Beloved, let us have the proper spiritual knowledge of God. It will lead to an increase in faith and will help us to have a successful Christian life. Jesus loves us.
